i'm in a similar dilemma where i considered changing from my 2009my 4.2 to a 5.0 but the difference in cost is to much for me to justify it...i havnt driven a 5.0 but mine is sublime with enough power when you need it and a comfortable drive..

Totally understand Stan its a real dilemma and for me the fact that mine was so well looked after and immaculate condition makes it even more difficult and I was surprised at the price differential its almost double |

I've not driven a 5,0 and, like many 4.2 owners, suffer the same dilemma.

So, speaking from experience of having had the 3.0 TD6, 3.6 TDV8, 4.2 SC and 5.0 SC (as well as having driven the 4.4TDV8, 3.0 TDV6, 2.7 TDV6, 3.0 SDV6 yadda yadda) I can categorically say that the 5.0 is like nothing else.

@Sandyt: if you get a good deal, JUST DO IT! I can kick myself for not taking a deal that I was offered on a 2011 5.0SC albeit with 119000kms, but FSH.
