Modern Take on E-Type = Low Drag GT

The Low Drag GT’s interior might look authentically vintage, but hidden away you’ll find air conditioning, power steering and concealed GPS navigation, all of which plays second fiddle to the 4.7-litre all-aluminium engine; lighter and more powerful than the original, and just as beautiful.

Fancy one? Around £650,000 should do it. Proof that, whatever Luther Vandross might say, the best things in life just aren’t free.

Superb lovely car, everything in the same place and in the same shape as the original. Peace of art! I want one.... But than again mmmmpf ...getting in and out is not easy had my 3.8 fhc for 12 years and it was a great drive, and wonderful to park her and walk away with that "nonchalance" of an E type owner, sitting drinking my coffee and looking at all the admirers and photo's taken...it's more than a year, but I still mis her in my garage.

Stunning! Pure car sex of the highest order!

I had the use of a Series 1 E-Type earlier this year and it completely seduced me. These things are FAR better to drive than they've any right to, although getting in and out for a tall, well-built chap like me was a bit of a challenge.

Just so many things on so many levels. The looks, the driving position, the view down that gloriously long bonnet, the engine noise, the precision of the gearbox, the steering, the smell, the feeling you get. Utterly capitvating!
