Bike racks

I am in need of a rear mounted rack, that can also be used when towing the caravan...I prefer to put inside the van and not being 7ft tall a roof carrier isn't a good plan.

Advice.... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Yep - they do both flange and swan neck fittings - best for bikes with a cross bar, but you can also get an adapter.

Also a height extension if you need it.

Another vote for maxxraxx. I have one and it's ace. Plus you can get spares on the bay like I did. I got me the bent upright designed for 4x4s with a rear mounted spare which (when not towing as well) allows me to open both tailgates without removing the bikes. Oh and it doesn't wreck your paintwork with straps rubbing or hooks on the tailgates.

Seem to remember this question cropping up in the old days on the D3 forum. My vote goes for the Pendle rack, which fits around the towball and can accommodate 3 or 4 bikes.

Oh, but you can't tow at the same time.

2006 Range Rover Autobiography Supercharged Zambezi Silver

I have a 4 bike Maxxrax that has been used twice, it's the 4x4 fitment that means you can drop the tailgate on the FFRR with it fitted.

Full kit, lightboard etc all surplus to requirements since my Supercharged was stolen.....

Must get round to advertising it one day or sticking it on eBay... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

After trying a few options I have gone for the Saris Bones 3 bike rack, I noticed Thule have released a similar style.

Suits me and does the job Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
