I removed the ulf module from the motor today.

It could look a bit cobbled together as the ULF was never fitted to our cars, so the loom has to be rewired for it to work, as you prob know. The push button is likely to be used to put the unit into pairing mode so you can pair your mobile phone to it.

Just had another read of your post Steve - realised you took it from another vehicle...... In which case I'd bet that the loom will have the connector set up correctly already. There have been a few wiring diagrams posted on here in the past. From memory, the pairing button goes to pins 32 and 36.

there was a chap who done a pre wired loom that converted it to the bmw ulf and had the option of the pairing button,this was about a meter long, you but double check before you plug the unit in as you will kill if it has not been rewired V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Thanks for the wiring diagrams mjdronfield. I have removed the unit from our motor as I wanted to shorten the loom and before any damage could be caused to it due to a leaking back door seal, which I have replaced.

Checked the wiring today and connected the unit up. Telephone appeared on the centre screen.
