I think ivory leather really makes a RR unique and very special. Black leather to me at least, feels very "Germanic"..

This looks pretty close to your type of spec ??

Thanks for this, i did see the ad, TBH, i am not sure about buying private. I guess i want to have a reputable warranty as back up if something goes wrong. As i am not really mechanically minded and finding a independent RR mechanic in west london hasn't been an easy task.

My P38 is a dark blue with Ivory leather interior, does look nice; however i am feeling the all black. Even if the headlining was not black wouldn't be an issue.

Not too sure now about the 2 tone seats, initially i quite like it. Its not easy is it?

The interior of that car is black with grey in the 2 tone combination. I am not sure how easy it would be to sell on

Hi RR Driver,

I think that looks good and hopefully you will get a decent warranty from the LR Stealer. Black exterior is awful, it gets so dirty, so easily! But when it is clean, a Black 5.0 S/C is the dogs dangles! Also take note, it is impossible to drive it slowly as the engine gets really Censored off if you try and potter around Shocked Leather headlining is a great feature....mine is a 2010 model and still smells of cow...not the backend I hasten to add! United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 V8 Santorini Black

So, i am hoping to go see a 5.0 this week, 31K, 55K miles Black, Black seats and ivory headlining, with deployable steps. Would you say this is a good deal? I am going to try to negotiate an Extended LR warranty as well a service if its due ( will get more details later this week) again any advice.

if i dont move forward with this car, i may look at something else temporarily- maybe for 6 months or so- any recommendations- on what wont lose too much money in depreciation. I will only get from a LR Dealer or an recommended Indy dealer like GE- possibilities are 3.6 TDV8 as they are going for around 15-20K for a '08 with lowish mileage. Ideally something that i could maybe p/x later and not feel the pinch too much,
I had a '14 ML350 for the weekend, nice car, excellent pick up and for 320 miles cost £68 in diesel, but didn't have the heavy weight feel of my 2000 P38 2.5 diesel. Howe ever, after getting back into my trusted RR, i released it was time for a pretty soonish change.
also, coming from a P38 into the ML which was a lot quicker- should i maybe step up to the 5.0SC slowly., I dont want to test drive too many cars. I love the interior of the 5.0Sc it is pure class and the engine sounds superb. 2011 5.0SC Santorini Black

It sounds like you really want a 5.0 SC and then I think that is what you should go for. Like Gary says, you will be going what if a lot if you get anything else Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
