Either in trouble, as also selling their car?

or

Complete rip off in the 1st place?

Or the testing/R&D costs have already been recovered by initial sales, and they can now sell at a rate reflecting just time spent the car & parts. Researching my first Range Rover purchase

Good point Tony, but if that was the case the it discount would be a price reduction and therefore 'currently' could have been omitted. Whistle

The JE discounts are a regular thing, and probably attract customers who wouldn't consider a remap at full price,

it is also reasonable to assume that a company like JE will need to acquire a new 4.4 TDV8 for continued development purposes for their remaps - plus its a car for the MD.

Most remaps whether they are JE, Superchips, TurboChips, DMS etc etc are all around the same price. JE have the benefit of a fully equipped workshop, develop their own products and have a long standing relationship with LR - even developing engines for LR.

Many other map sellers don't have premises or backup - I know who I would trust.

JE are also very pleasant to deal with - not wanting to harp on but just redress the balance Wink
