It's a bit odd hearing that someone didn't get a reply from GAP, has it happened to anyone else? I know they work funny hours but I always get a response by return. I've had hours of fun with mine, and saved a few quid, just playing around altering settings, I think it's the tool to go for. Geoff

Price roughly £390 inc vat. That's for a VIN locked Bluetooth version. I think Dan at Duckworths were doing a PRO version (all vehicles unlocked) for £1850 inc vat.

I got my BT IID Tool through Island 4x4, £384-00 all in, including postage.

Great piece of kit, especially if you've got a 3rd gen or above Ipad. I've got the 4th gen Ipad and the functionality of the IID Control software is top notch! Thumbs Up

The IID BT Tool uses both the dashboard display or can be connected via bluetooth (Hence the BT bit) to android devices, apple devices, etc., but works best with an Ipad (at least that's what I find). It has to be a 3rd Gen or newer Ipad though.

I got a reconditioned 4th Gen Ipad off fleabay for £215, it works a treat with the IID Tool, as you get a full screen readout and is easier to use, especially as you don't have any cables, etc. getting in the way.

It's something that's well worth the investment. Thumbs Up

Another advantage of using the iPad is that you can email any faults listed to yourself and study them at your leisure. John

I don't have a lap top, ipad or android? Only a desktop PC and an iphone?

So can I use the iid toolon its own?

You can also use an iphone with the IID BT Tool, check what models iphone are supported (I think it's iphone 4 models onwards, but may be wrong)
