United States 2013 Range Rover HSE 5.0 V8 Fuji White
Has anyone been able to hack the nav?

Hi everyone. Mark from the US here. I just bought a 13 HSE with the vision pack.

I have a 13 HSE without the rear seat entertainment.

I did buy the navtv plug in play so we can watch DVDs while on long trips. But I really want my slingbox to work so I can watch tv. I'm in my car 5-8 hours a day usually waiting at job sites. I don't plan on watching while driving.

Has anyone in two years been able to bypass the nav? I know holding the valet button opens up a ton of sub routines.

Our cars are so limited since we need the current system for so many essential operations like climate control and seat messaging etc.

I know we can hack into the rear camera input to import video directly into the nav screen, we just need a switch to turn it on and off and I really want sat nav traffic so I can physically see the congested freeways versus the crappy tmc that reroute a you a hundred times without telling you where to go until 1 mile before your exit. If I could mirror my android phone to the nav screen I would be so happy.

Anyone? There has got to be some rich person on here who doesn't just want to overfinch their rig with bigger rims but invested in upgrading the nav system.

I would in their debt forever if anyone knows a company willing to test things out on my rig. I'm willing to take risks to get the nav bypassed or get better traffic updates to our screens.

Thank you in advance.

Mark
