Just got back from the MOT.
My Rangie has passed but had advisory for the rear subframe bushes. Not bad enough for a fail but starting to show signs of wear. Lad who tested it said the same bushes on the X5's are failing for every other X5 he sees. They apparently start to clunck when accelerating when they eventually let go. Any one done these themself?
Also Advisory on the brake pipes not being examinable due to the rubber protection. I'd already cleaned up the rear pipes and greased them up.. this time the fronts got highlighted
The Suspension decided to play silly keeping the Rangie on the jack until some gentle gemmy work got it off, though the sight of the Rangie refusing to give back the gemmi a bit like a dog and a stick was quite funny! I really need to sort the compressor!
All said and done I'm a happy pixie.
