thanks, but have both off and no sign of a split anywhere. I have squeezed them to make sure there isn't a hidden one.

Update: Problem was seized passenger side turbo.

Thanks - cost was just under 2.5k, apparently other side is less labour, but higher part cost - so will be about the same. |

Just replaced both turbos on a customers car. The old turbos were sent away to be inspected at the request of the warranty company. They had both "failed" due to lack of oil. Upon checking the old oil feed pipe, there was definately a blockage in the pipe. I still have the old pipe, to cut open and inspect when I have a spare half hour. Upon that basis, I wonder if it it would be worth replacing the oil feed pipe every 2-3 years as a serviceable item? |

Sorry to hear that you had such bad luck. I think Mikey may be on to something, better get the oil pipes check to see if they are clean and clear.
