OMG this is awful

I have just received a newsletter from Lookers Park Royal with what looks like a computer generated picture of the 2011MY with the most awful front grille and lower intake......................... I predict a large demand for 2010MY front grilles, 2011 looks like it was taken from VW van if this is what is to come.

Just hope this is the Autobiography version or "HST" for export markets where they like this sort of thing! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

That is a 11my Exterior Design Pack, however it is as you say CGI. In the flesh it looks very nice indeed. The EDP was purely grilles on 10my but the 11my has a different front bumper, side sills, rear bunper and tail pipes.

I would still have it purely for the engine and gearbox TBH.
It will be like the 2002-2008 BMW 7 series - colour sensitive, pick the wrong colour and it will probably be dire.
I predict the silvers and blacks will go very well.

Better start saving for a silver one suppose!

I have one of the Autobiography Black editions coming, and have to say the front grille worries me, but decided to wait and see what it looks like in the flesh. I guess changing it is easy enough.

That looks like a BarryBoys mesh special. Superglue, Hellfrauds, and distasteful modifying all come to mind.

Wouldn't mind betting Scrubber Spice had something to do with it. "Yeah right, like cover it in glue and drive it froo Allferds an itta look well cool, innit"

One can only hope a 10MY pack is available as an option 'cos I sure as hell won't order one of those.

Makes me wonder if Range Rover brand is going towards the chav-tastic crowd.

I'm not sure how much of an "enhancement" it is - but then everybody over on RRS said the same of the HST grille and now they cannot get enough of them! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Yep, I would agree with all the less negative comments. But the fact remains that it's not exactly forward looking or futuristic design. The Sierra was radical at the time yes. It was mainly because it was so different. This is just following the "Mesh" and "Modders" crowd.

Whatever happened to the Range Rover being refined, regal and a cut above?? Leave the Citroen Spaggo and Pauxhall Corsa type of accoutriments to the RRS brigade. The Vogue is meant to be reserved and understated.

Actually, I've got it.......Imagine the RR Vogue (2010 and older) as being the English Gentleman in the country pub, quietly sipping at his pint of dark, warm, flat beer. Then imagine the <insert_German_thing_here> as being the loud-mouthed lager lout at the bar with all the showing off that goes with such.

We all know that the Englishman could still take Hans outside for a good trouncing should he so choose. It's just that he doesn't have anything to prove.

So, this new glitzy front end then is GERMAN Shocked Shocked Shocked And we all thought the days of BMW ownership were gone Whistle Whistle
