Orkney Grey - what does everyone think?

I am looking for a black with cream 4.4td V8 on a 2011 plate and came across a nice car but with Orkney Grey paintwork. It seems to light to my eyes. Is it a difficult colour to sell?

I like Stornoway, but I am worried that Oakney is too light. Do we all agree that black is the most popular/wanted colour?

I was only really interested in black or grey - my budget wouldn't have stretched to the 2012 model year, which is when (I think) Orkney replaced Stornaway.

I was pretty fixed on an ivory interior either way. Thumbs Up

Yes I agree on Ivory - makes the interior look very special

Grey and Ivory is the best combo, imho. But that is having had a black on black ff. Ivory makes the interior much lighter and the grey exterior is easier to make look clean.

That may be lost on a potential newbie though, but to someone who has had one it may be a different matter! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yes I agree that the black will be hard to keep looking good. I currently have a grey 2003 (can't remember the name) so I am well aware of the benefits of grey Very Happy I just think black looks more imposing

I presume that will be Bonatti Grey on your 2003 Thumbs Up

I am yet to find out just how difficult it is to keep clean - but I think it will be worth it, if I can keep it looking like this...
