Thank you sir Thumbs Up , he's a fine boy.
He hasn't done anything much since January so have our work cut out but he'll learn who's boss soon enough.

Just use him for teaching the kid to ride and hack out on our roads......might even, when hes fit enough ( and me Laughing ) travel to work! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Pete, joking apart it is much easier to diagnose the issues they have and as for 22's read shoes which are a black art. FFRR is a pussy compared to a competition horse Rolling with laughter

So, which do you guys reckon is the biggest money-pit ...... FFRR or horses?

I may just be tight but I've spent more on horses / paraphernalia in the last 12 months than I would ever consider spending on my FFRR Big Cry And all because Wifekins thought a pony may be a good idea for our daughter Big Cry Big Cry

Only problem now is I ride more than those two put together Thumbs Up

Being a male at least means you don't have to milk it.

@Welshdragon - us too Thumbs Up When we first met 26 years ago wifey had a riding centre just off Lake Windermere and her life revolved around riding.

Since then she's had a fantastic career in business and not really touched a horse for 20+ years. However, we've both discovered our ability on a horse is greater in the mind than it is in the saddle Very Happy

The plus side is it has opened up a whole new world of "must have" toys!! Riding gear, horse attire, tack, trailers etc.
I've just finished the outdoor school and am currently finishing off the new stables / indoor area. Thumbs Up

I think I'm safe until the Pony Club starts proper then the three horse trailer will have to be exchanged for a truck Big Cry

Bow down Bow down

The wife used to ride horses many years ago, got to be 30 ish years now and I used to 15 years ago, other hobbies took over and where we used to live riding was very expensive Big Cry

At the moment the kids don't want to show/hunt/compete but Im sure that will change soon enough......I just remember how much it hurts when you fall off Laughing If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

I can see some of the appeal of the riding scene.
