[Wanted] CD GPS Navigation System

Im hoping that someone may have a spare CD navigation unit they wish to sell as my screen went into major flicker mode today. Upon investigation having removed the CD unit out came a quantity of brown water............kaput me thinks.......i don't want to spend on a DVD upgrade having looked at the prices on the Bay although the CD drives seem to be at a premium as well...........im in Sussex and happy to pick up if not to far away

I may have had a miraculous escape for the water of doom..........i had nothing to lose so i rigged up an old hair dryer directing it into a very small vent in the CD drive casing and while it was running sprayed some WD40 at the flow of air so it entered the unit like a mist, ran the dryer for about 20 mins few more squirts of WD40 then left it indoors overnight standing on its end to dry............the CD drive not me...............re fitted this morning and so far no flicker, ran and drove the car still no flicker, CD back in Sat nav works as it should..................time will tell but seems ok................may still need one but will check it over this week to see if its stable and flicker free
