Canadian Rail Crash

Any Canadians know if this has blocked the TRans Canadian Rail Route?

A freight train derailed in Canada on Tuesday causing some of the hazardous material it was carrying to catch fire. The train was travelling from Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, when the accident happened.

I know it's happened. The safety record for trains here is shocking. Lorries and planes do MUCH better and those folks have a lot more to pay attention to? The day this happened one of the rail company bosses had just been speaking about increasing rail efficiency by increasing trail speed limits. Shocked As they seem incapable of not crashing, I'm all for them crashing as slowly as possible. Evil or Very Mad

I would suspect there are alternate routes around the problem, but I don't know. The northern US also has parallel tracks if required.
