It can be done its just that most wheel refurbers dont have the right gear as the wheels effectively need re-skimming to take away the damaged bits.

Thanks guys. Looking at both sites it seems smart repair company can only diamond cut up to 20 inch wheels.

You can but it's costly, I was looking at having mine done on my L322 but to be honest for the cost and the length of time you get using them before the lacquer chips and they get worm lines in them again isn't worth in imo. I'm just going to powder coat them 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts |

Not in France but this company (admittedly in Inverness, North Scotland) is very good and I think they recently bought a lathe for the diamond cutting on bigger wheels. They are used to getting wheels sent from all over.
