hi all i am off to look at a vogue se next week thats been advertised on auto trader but the car doesnt have the vogue seats or rear heated seats,no nav or a sun roof ...i am a p38 driver at present so any advice if this is usual would be apreciated.

What age FF are we talking here sir? I would presume its an early car? If so, i would think its either a rebadged SE or HSE

What I will say though is that the difference between the two vehicles is immense
You should not have any of the vagueness that exists with the p38 - which p38 do you drive and which l322 are you looking at - petrol /diesel

OK... no such thing as a 2003 VSE my friend... The VSE did not get released until 2005 sir so my guess would be a previous owner has put a VSE badge on it...

If you can get hold of the VIN and ring any main dealer, they can tell you the original specs sir

Everything that one doesn't have

Sunroof, comfort seats (an absolute must have imho) heated front & rear, heated steering wheel, sat nav, TV (but unusable analogue) leather dash & arm rests etc etc etc etc etc

Depending on your mileage it might be worth looking at the 4.4 petrol some on here have said they perform well and the early diesels are a tad underpowered but then the p38 diesel isn't a racehorse

A good pal has a 2003 autobiography v8 for sale, I'll be posting it up here next week.

I have just test drove a td6 and it seemed fine . . might consider a petrol but it would need to be a bargain.

Mine is not for sale, but I am a bit up the M1 from you in Chesterfield.

Think your seller means it is an SE (the lowest trim level with b@gger all.) Most are ex police. They call the "new" L322 shape a vogue in their ignorance.
