He seems to contradict himself by saying the police returned the car, then goes further and says he hasn't got it back from them. Most confusing.

His laconic approach to this is incredible. He's either massively naive or hiding something.

I've never had a letter from the DVLA telling me they're dealing with my change of ownership on a V5C.

Never. and I've had plenty of cars plus we have private plates.

Surely this is a wind up??
