rear flexi brake hoses

anyone know who the oem manufactuer of the rear flexi brake hoses for our fatties. mine looked a little rusty so i cleaned them and they looked ok untill i examined them with a magnifing glass ,
they looked smooth but had patchy marks on them so i poked them with a small screw driver and rust fell out leaving a pitted surface
so i need to replace them and inspect the rest of the system needs to be oem quality or better without the land rover premium any suggestions ? 1990 3.5 v8 defender

England

I searched high and low for an alternative to LR parts for this and came up with nothing.

Dan at Duckworths provided best price (still very pricey, though) Confused .

Phone Dave at LLama

http://www.llama4x4.com/index.htm

He will make you some stainless hoses to fit, I'll be ringing him soon when I do the brakes on mine, his stuff is quality and you will have a firmer peddle as well... These will last the life of the car and are virtually indestructible...

If you phone him make sure you have an hour free as he can talk for England!!!! Rolling with laughter Pete

yeh ive been seaching but draws a blank ,allthough the hoses may be made by corteco
the llama 4x4 looks an option trouble is the hoses are quite unique, where as each end is non standard and a metal pipe in the middle with rubber hoses each end Thumbs Up 1990 3.5 v8 defender

With braided you won't need the metal hose in the middle, they do it to reduce the length of the rubber pipe which expands and gives a soft pedal, one continuous braided hose will be fine, and give a firmer pedal... Pete
