As most of you may know, there is a change to the way the UK's road fund licence is being policed, and the paper disc will not be used after the above date.

For parking ticket there is a really cheap see through plastic clip (think Volvo came up with them and they seem to be standard on their cars) that you can hardly see when it is not in use. Much better then a bloody tax disc holder. I hate anything on the screen (In Malaysia you have to display your road tax sticker still) I always tried to put them as much out of sight as possible (lower or upper corners).

Eugene I always assumed that those clips in Volvo's was to hold a disabled parking permit 2008 MY Supercharged

Well, took mine out this morning. The fact that the DVLA no longer require you to display a tax disc and therefore can remove your tax disc holder must mean that they have come to an arrangement with Land Rover to improve the reliability of their cars as we will no longer have the dealers number to hand when it all goes pear shaped!

i'm 57 and i've grown up with the fact that cars have tax discs on the windscreen , its going to be weird looking and 'not' seeing that disc.. ... - .- -.
