Much has been said about other countries of comparable populations who gained their independence.
Take New Zealand for example, prior to their independence it already had:-
Vehicle registrations
Passports
Banking system
National currency
Army
Navy
Air Force
to name a few things.
Scotland has none of these they can call their own so will need to start from scratch at huge expense before becoming a Country recognised by the UN.
Scotland will have a £100,000,000 debt which it may honour if it gets its own way, but I would not guarantee that.
Just my own opinion on what a YES vote could mean.
