as the title says, Lyon. round or through.......

I have driven the route to the south quite a few times now and know the way pretty much, but i can never work out the best way past Lyon.

I am sure that i have been round it, and through it but don't know which was quicker, i recall that through can be ok but am sure that i went round one time and it seemed less stressful........

but then looking at the map there are several routes that you could take round the city, and there are several different layers of peripherique.

Does anyone have a preferred/much used route through.

I was pondering on exiting A6 onto A46, joining the A432 and taking a western route past the airport, joining the A43 back towards Lyon then picking the A46 up again round and onto the A7.

Or, A46, E15, N346 and back onto the A46, whih looks like a more straightforward option........ There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
