Instrument lights not working

Hi,

Got a strange issue with my RR Vogue 2003. None of the lights on the whole instrument cluster, nor the center control panel, light up when I turn on my headlights on. This effectively makes the car unusable at night.

I've checked all instrument and light fuses, all seem ok. I almost seems as if the car doesn't know that my headlights have been turned on, the dash is just in the standard "day mode" with no back lights.

Any ideas?

Mark

Really? There's a dial which turns them up and down, is that what you're referring to? I have this but it had no effect on the actual instrument lights, all that does is fade up and down the central LCD panel backlight (which is the only thing on the dash that does light up, but that's lit up without headlights too).
