Rear drives side door won't lock or unlock and the window won't operate.

Any pointers before i start the strip down.

Haven't even had it a day

Does the window work from the drivers door and does the puddle light come on?? Pete

Drivers door works, yes puddle light comes on and the fuse is ok.

I think i may try the harness connection as this has been flagged on another forum.

Stripped it down today, there is a remote bcm in the door, I swapped passenger to driver side and hey presto it worked, so I now know what to change, lucky escape me thinks,

Off to the dealers to get my replacement.

I've found a second hand unit for 20 quid. Same part number and physically the same but some of the codes are different? Can I kill the car if it's wrong? We're there different types made with the same part number?

Purchased a new rear door controller from lr. 60 quid. Fitted and all is fine. Nice easy fix.
