Ok problem fixed
Sorry guys was over a week ago but only just got around to doing this

Ok so the large plastic pipe running from the air filter towards the engine was crushed. Not too sure when, how or why. But made it nice and round again and normal service is resumed. Full power. Plus the Orange engine light has stopped coming on also.
Stroke of luck really as I was ready to go and pay lots of pennies (or rather rubles) to get it checked out
