went to look at the fitting instructions from other threads here..
there seems to be some additional panel that is need which i have no got.
should i return the flaps or have members done with out this additional part or just let the dealer fit it.
any advice please
the rear one took 10 mins per side.
front ones are a PITA....

the bottom panels just behind the front arch has to come off to fit a metal plate which the flap bolts onto.you have to drill two hole into this panel as well.. ... - .- -.

To find out how to remove the lower panel there is a thread on replacing the side vents/grills this also details how to remove the lower panels - easier if the doors are open 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Did you buy aftermarket versions if so they tend to send out without plates. Originally I bought these and they came without plates after contacting supplier they sent me out missing brackets. I now have original oem flaps. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

If the side panels have never been removed, it'll take a fair amount of effort to get them off, so you need to be a lot braver than you think! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
