United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue
Freelander 2

Looking at adding a Freelander 2 to the fleet. Having had a look around it'll probably be a low mileage i6 HSE.

Anybody got any experience of these? Have had one out as a courtesy car before (Diesel though) and thought it was quite nice but thought I'd ask around first.

I had no idea there was a 6 cylinder version. Here's the autocar review.

That's another thing we're looking at, I've heard there's some pretty decent deals on new ones at the moment.

The late SD4 HSE's are very nicely appointed cars, the SD4 HSE that we had as a courtesy car from LR was very nice.

Just trying to decide wether it's worth spending that kinda money on something that's going to do very little when I can buy an i6 HSE for a little over £10k with less then 30k miles on it.

Id go used.

They are rarer and sought after by some due to less issues with the engines and the loss over a few years on a newer one... Doesn't matter to some I know but it could go on another vehicle per chance.. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Hmmm, decisions decisions.

Looking at all sorts just now including another SC, or possibly a 3.6 TDV8 so am unsure which way we'll go at the moment.

Well it's a done deal.

Have left a deposit on a Freelander 2 i6 HSE. It's a one owner car from new with only 29k miles on it.

Collecting it from Guy Salmon in Stockport on Friday. Pretty happy with the deal that we got so looking forward to it now Smile
