TV in motion.

Hi am trying to sort the tv in motion out.
I have a 2002 non touch screen nav and I have bought a lead but I am unsure where to plug it in, is it into the tv module or the nav CD player.
I have sorted out my av input and rear view camera just need this lead sorting.
Thanks in advance

It's illegal and stupid. Don't do it.

It's not illegal to have a rear view camera wired up chaps or are I missing something, if in reverse will the screen still work?

old thread I know,

Im have got a rear camera which records ( mini dash cam with RCA plug) and for it to work through the head unit when on the tv av channel, but would I need the tv on the move module?
I have the cable mod ready and the camera works only in park hence the question, but I might of answered it by just fitting a switch for it to turn on and not go through the reverse connection on rear light and tv channel button. Confused

Any ideas? If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

If going through tv av on the tv module then yes you will need to activate TV in Motion for it to work when not in park. Can't remember if you need to if you are wired into the reverse cam av on the tv module though. A switch makes sense, then you can watch out the back anytime!

I have my reverse cam setup through my carpc, just a matter of selecting on the screen. (In process of revisiting carpc with the leaps and bound in Android) .

Yes, 'cos you will need Navcoder or posh diagnostics to set it. .

I used to do this with a TV in motion lead - the one I got had a aux video in - I used to run a camera behind my trailer where I had a fairly large blind spot from the mirrors
