My bicycle is called a Diamond Back. It's a hybrid road/mountain bike. It's very nice and about 20 years old. I put fenders on it to keep out the mud, and straight handle bars as I didnt like crouching while riding. I find it very easy to pedal compared to previous bikes I've owned. It's not very heavy. It has a ridiculous number of gears (24) and a fancy thing with the shifters done by twisting the hand grips.

Decathlon sell a £280 road bike that could be fitted with 700 profile knobblies. I have the 63cm frame and am 6'4/14st and it's plenty big enough.
