What needs chipping? I've seen a few differences between the 05 and 06, then a few more between then 06 and 07, then significantly more between the 07-09 and 2010. |

Lexus Edinburgh had this TD6 for sale. It was £30k in January time (I was told by another) when I saw it in April it had dropped to £28995, then a few weeks later it was £26995.

They may take £20,000 if really desperate though i think around £22,000 is more realistic. |

I know - try clicking on my text in my post, it should be a different colour and is one of them new fangled methods of hiding a massively long URL into a tidy little bit. It goes like this: xxxxx The dotted bit is where you put the web address and the xxxxx bit is the text you want it to say. It ends up looking like this: Lexus Edinburgh had this TD6 for sale. Cool eh? Been doing it this way since rx8ownersclub forum in 2003! |

I bid them up to £22k beforer buying the TDV8 in May, but they did not bite, they said they had a shortage of cars at the moment and had decided to start retailing non-franchise (Lexus) cars to boost their 2nd hand car lot. Or to put it another way the underwriting bids from dealers were abysmal and they couldnt afford to take the hit against their own value on the books, it looks it is still that way otherwise it would have been sold on to the trade auction by now. |
