Could only happen to me !!!!

So a few weeks ago we decide to go and have some pie and mash
in Walthamstow, as we get to Woodford green, just past Epping, we
get caught in traffic, to our left is a cricket club, so as I turn and say
to my grandson, at least we can watch some cricket mate, , the man
with the bat( I don't follow cricket ) smashes the ball for a six, as its
flying through the Air, reallity dawns that the Ball is heading straight
for the fatty. Bosh direct hit straight on the roof
Big Cry

So after a fair bit of arguing the cricket club eventually paid for the repair..
But they did try a few excuses before paying up, eg the cricket club was
here before the road and the best one , if you didn't have such a big car
it wouldn't haven't hit it Rolling with laughter. 2004 vogue

Next time I have a dent I'm going to colour it red and park the car near a cricket pitch. Smile

If you actually park it next to a cricket pitch, then surely there's an acceptance that it might get hit by a cricket ball? Bit like if you parked on a golf course, or on a beach when the tide was coming in, or on a level crossing ...
