Hi Folks,

Just found out I am being sent on a business trip in a few weeks and looking for ideas of what to do (or not to do) while I'm away.

I'll be going to Hong Kong for a 4 days and then onto Tokyo for 4 days. The following week I'll be in Germany and then finally 4 days in Bermuda.

Any good suggestions for the Hong Kong/Tokyo part of the trip. Working during the day so nothing too strenuous for the evenings. I think I will leave on a monday so arrive in HK on Tuesday. Working wed/thur/fri and stay in HK for the Saturday and travel to Tokyo Sunday. Travel back home the following Thursday.

I would like to get some camera stuff in HK so any good suggestions also welcome....

Not been to any of those places, but for long haul I put movies and tv shows on my phone, take an external battery and some decent head phones. A phone is the right size screen to watch a movie from an airline seat.

Was thinking more in terms of things to do in HK and Tokyo (and surrounding areas).

I travel a bit with work so always fine for the actual flights (and business class so a good selection of films/meals/sleep) Ash

Island of Lantau and see the worlds biggest Buda,
Take the Escalators and tram up to Victoria Peak ( the escalators are are laugh)
Go to Happy valley and have a punt ,
Ocean Park.
Have been a few times and love it , Insight Guides to Hong Kong is the best book I have found and get an Octopus
card for the ferries trains and busses . Some times I just walk up Nathan street and when I haven't seen any Europeans for a while I stop and go in to a random restaurant , always good fun. 2008 MY Supercharged
