rear brake pads service

Can anyone please offer advice on changing the rear pads on my 09 with EPB?

My diagnostic tool has an EPB function on it and I'm assuming that one uses this to put the EPB into service mode and then change the pads? Are these calipers wind back or push back?

I've searched the forum for a write up on this but can't see anything?

Any advice would be much appreciated please.

Thanks
Andy

Calipers are push back if they are the same as the 07 which i believe they are. Put the epb into service mode and then you can change the discs. You then need to do a new disc bedding in process once replaced. There is info on here about that if you do a search. Also get a copy of bodskys brake bible, in the wiki i think, as the process is pretty much the same as the disco. You may need to wind back the shoes and they are about 25 or 35 past the hour on each side with the disc hole if you know what i mean.

Another thing is the slider pins can seize so will need regreasing to ensure no brake binding. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue
