can someone confirm the car tax costs for a ffrr circa 2002/2004 for both diesel and petrol....i've been on the 'gov' site and 'think' the 4.4 is £245 but not sure for the diesel...

yeah really annoying, they use less fuel yet the RFL is £435 - crazy |

Fortunately the gov did a U-turn on backdating the new bandings to 2001 when VED started to be based on emissions. Otherwise we'd all be paying £435 per year! |

Pity those who bought 2.4 Puma Engined Defenders thinking they would not be in a high tax band................... they pay £425 pa too. Glad I still have my 1996 TDi300 - cheap tax and extremely cheap insurance with Land Rover Insurance! |

That's why I got the utility rear. Can also get with 5 seats. Commercial vehicle still only £200 if under 3.5t. |
