They changed at about 05, easy check take your spare wheel out and have a look, also if you give Ireland your chassis number would have thought they could check for you

Open it and have a look and don''t pay loads of money for a replacement speak to bagpipeandy on fleabay you could probably get a kit for 25 quid to fix it. There are other people selling the kits but I have used him so I know it works. When you take your wheel out of the wheel well I am sure you can see a part number you can use as reference for him. I am on holiday in sunny climes so can't check my 2005 bucket ( just before face lift but same ***ty components) so worth a try.

Forgot to say don't let Landrover change it unless it is under warranty they will charge you a fortune fekn crooks you can do it yourself or buy the bits and get a good local mechanic to do it or a mate who you can ply food and drink after he or she has done it.

Thanks for the info. I thought the compressor didn't have a repair kit? Sure I read it was only for the one before?

Does the compressor not need to be reprogrammed? If not I'll just buy one and do it myself.
Just to be clear, the dealer I bought it from is paying for it so a new one is the best best IMO.

No brainier Get the dealer to replace with a new one or a reconditioned if it goes again you have a warranty if you do it yourself no warranty.
The dealer sounds good if he is willing to replace with new.

Whats the crack with fitting the compressor?
I've read you need to reset it but then I read that if you disconnect the battery first, that will work also. I have a new relay to fit once I've fitted the compressor.

Thanks.

Just fit it, after 10 minutes the suspension fault displayed again. Does it need to be reset?

Hi Rich to reset the steering fault do the following. Turn the steering wheel full lock to the left count to 3-5 then turn to the right full lock count 3-5 then I for good measure turn back to the left and count again. It usually resets at the second turn but I did read on another forum to do the third one so force of habit now. The engine needs to be running for this. The relay I can't advise you on maybe someone else can tell you what to do with it if you post what the relay is for.

Are you drunk or am I? Haha
It's suspension fault. Steering is fine (atleast I think it is)
The relay is for the air suspension.

Lol yes I am working on the drunk bit but the suspension error on the read out can be reset by doing the steering thing. If you have changed the compressor then you need to reset the computer. Do a search in the wiki I am sure it is in there.

Who told you a relay was faulty in the suspension? Is it a height sensor maybe? Traded in my Audi TT 225 for my Range Rover TD6 Autobiography in Java Black. Range Rover now sold.

Apparently when you fit a new compressor, you need to fit a new relay.
