The bolt is supplied with the swan neck, the pin is for the fixed plate, as it is not meant to stay on the car.

I also couldn't afford another brand new RRS without going down the range, now that the TDv8 is no longer available in the RRS, and while the 3ltr TDv6 is a great engine, it is not a TDv8 as far as refinement and get up and go is concerned!

Tim,

Fully agree with your comments on the 3ltr TDV6 in the RRS compaired to the 3.6ltr TDV8, but did you ever consider waiting for the RRS 4.4ltr TDV8? "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Delivery done thanks to Matthew at LPR for the most amazingly long and thorough hand over I have ever gone though, and to James for making the purchase possible! Russel a 4.4 would be very nice but no discounts available yet and I'm happy with the 3.6 albeit in a slightly lower tune than in the RRS

Congratulations Tim. Have fun with the fat one! Pictured together it's striking how close the front end of the 2010 full fat is to the RRS. Just a bit taller......... My Previous RR's!

And now I wish I had parked across 2 slots which was my original intention................................. OK so I'm not quite parked in the centre of my bay but I just hope the owner over the Lexus had his wing mirrors folded in when he parked!

Full Fat believe it or not that isn't going to be that easy! BUT the one thing I have missed from the RRS so far has been the adaptive cruise - I used to curse it when it slammed on the anchors because some little econobox had filled my safety gap then slowed down, but when you no longer have something you realise just how useful it was on a busy motorway. I was certain the FFRR Vogue didn't have a refrigerated coolbox between the front seats but by god my phone and the keyfob were too cold to touch when I stopped for a break! It's also great to listen to the audio books I have on my iPhone when I'm driving, Garrison Keiller sounds even more lugubrious on 14 speaker Logic7 sound! Will post more later - tine to visit the Teebay Services farmshop and do my shopping! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
