Front diff has gone on the rr, LR are out of stock, anyone on here got any?? Lol l322 3td6

Have you asked if they will do it through recall warranty, may have expired now, I know that doesnt address the stock issue

Hi, haven't asked about that, will do tomorrow when they get back to me. They recon I need 2 parts a diff and something to do with the prop shaft at £420 each!

There was a recall for that year for front diff, mine was done 2 years ago after failing on the motorway, I was unaware of recall, worth a call

I had mine done in Dec 2011 under the recall.

At the end of Jan 2012 they stopped doing the recall free.

We phoned round almost all the gearbox refurbishers looking for replacement. Apparently because mine is dome obsolete BMW part, nobody stocks them or the spares and so we had to order a service exchange item through LR.

Juist to let people know, I have just had my front Diff & Propshaft replaced under the recall. No issues. 52 plate 4.4 L322 on LPG
