Bluetooth-phone not fitted iPhone 5S

Whenever I push the phone button on the nav I just get the phone not fitted message on the screen, I'm sure it has Bluetooth but haven't got an idea how to get it working, is the fault with the car or the phone?, I know someone said you can replace the Nokia box in the back, is this the only way to get it working?.
It also has a phone crade in the centre console, do I need to unplug this?.

Go into the BT settings on your iOS. A search should find Land Rover. The pairing code is 2121.

Unless you have a late BT module it's primitive though so be prepared to pair it each time and have no address book connectivity etc. 2006 4.2 SC

Sorry, I will fill them in when I'm on my computer this evening, it's very fiddly on a phone.
Yes it's a 2005 touch screen model, it does also have the phone cradle in the centre console so maybe this is causing the problem?.
