If like me you run a nice set of 20" rims then £165 a 275/45 20 tyre from Oponeo :

Cooper also do:

275/55 R20 117 - pretty much same RR as 255/50 R20

275/60 R20 119 - 10% bigger so no go really even though very nice sidewall.

285/50 R20 116 - 4% bigger so OK and more sidewall and only £150 each

305/50 R20 120 - 6.7 % bigger so pushing it but even more sidewall fun.

Think I will be ordering the 285/50 in September - I need this look

Thanks for bringing it back on topic Tug. Gaz was heading in the wrong direction for a moment. I'm sure he sees the error of his ways. Laughing

Well actually my conclusion was "285/50 R20 116 - 4% bigger so OK and more sidewall and only £150 each"

AND a nice FAT sidewall.... Whistle

A full 1.5 cm more sidewall than a 255/50 R20 factory fit Tyre Laughing

Ok chaps - sorry to be boring but I've just bought a 57 plate TDV8 with 22" Overfinch alloys.

What on earth are my tyre choices? The pirellis as fitted are a tad rubbish compared to the GG AT2's I've been used to on the Disco 3.

We're farmers in the Scottish Borders so whilst it's a toy it still has to earn its keep!!

Ok, that's nice, but this one below is the type of wide, low profile, chrome wheeled bling that I think looks rediculous.

Sell the wheels on and get some proper ones. To me 22's just look rediculous on an L322.

You only have one choice:

Change to 20" or 19" Alloys......

Follow Kurts example small wheel fat tyres....

His TD6 Wheels:

Laughing Laughing Even I agree that is taking sidewall on an L322 a little too far. Laughing
