aftermarket sidesteps/mudflaps

anyone brought and fitted these £140'ish aftermarket steps/flaps?

any tips on fitting ,are yours any good?

appreciate feed back on these.. Thumbs Up





i did buy and try and fit some a while back but mine were different lengths so they went back.. ... - .- -.

I think they're the same ones i fitted.

They seemed to fit well enough, though i would advise making sure all the mounting bolts/threads are clear and matched before you start.

One or two of the chassis holes needed the threads chased with the correct tap to make sure they went in properly.

When it came to the front mudflaps, my a Censored e was twitching because of the hole you need to drill in the lower plastic wing below the gills........measure twice, drill once Wink

They seem ok Stan, i doubt the majority of people could tell the difference from genuine LR sets........but as they're a fraction of the price and SWMBO has short legs....i had no choice Whistle

Mpirie, do they have the Brunel grey sides on them?
Do you know if the grey strips unbolt or are molded?

On the gen steps they have a bolt on grey strip that runs alone the side of the step. Mine are cracked. You can but replacements but they are £80+vat each. The copy steps are only around £150 new!

If they are made the same I'll buy copies and swap the strips! Accept, some days your the pigeon, some days your the statue!
