Guessing you have xenons, the wipers and washers have to work for MOT.

Yes I have and yes they have to wash and wipe. the wipe part is not a problem both work and there is nothing wrong with the blades. All I really need is the nearside cap piece that has the washer jet built in.

It was only reading this I realised the cap has the washer nozzle on it - mine has been missing on the passenger side for a few months and I didn't think anything of it - but strangely it passed its MOT a couple of days ago....... (with Xenons)

I guess it depends on the tester at the time. With my luck I can be sure to get a real jobs-worth.

Just a thought, but give Cam Tech Craig (he's one of the site sponsors) a pm, he may have old wiper arms available from the facelifts he does. Might be able to do you a deal, he got me a replacement full headlight (xenon), sidelight, washer unit and wiper arm assembly for a good price...so may be able to help you.

I have had no luck so far trying to get the small cap which has the jet built in, that is unless i am to pay silly money for a new or used arm with one fitted. I'm not known for surrendering many many gold coins for a bit of plastic that probably costs 20p to make.

Why don't you simply unplug each of the wipers and see what happens, I pretty sure nothing will show anywhere.
