Vogue Vs Vogue SE

Hi all.

Been lurking for a while, and some will know me from Disco3.

Anyway, I'm considering a move from my D3 to a 2008 3.6TDV8 Vogue that I've been offered on a very good deal.

My question is what's the difference between a Vogue and Vogue SE at this sort of age?

I suppose I'm wondering if there is anything in my D3 HSE that won't be in the Vogue but would be in a Vogue SE if I found one.

Thanks

Nasher.

I wouldn't worry about it too much - there are some well loaded Vogues - just figure out what options you want & find a car with those.

A Vogue SE may well have additions that you don't need (or value) anyway.

I bought a Vogue SE because it was the best car I could find with the colours that I wanted, but I really couldn't care less about cooled seats, the ski bag is a waste of time as mine go on the roof with the snowboards and the RSE has been on maybe twice - my kids prefer iPads. The retractable dog guard is useful for me, but that's about it.

I had a good read of the suggested old threads, and found some other stuff.

So in the real world it looks like the answer is naff all.

Cooled seats sounds 'cool' but I can live without.
And has been mentioned the options box could have been ticked at order anyway.

Thanks all

Nasher.

I have the AB and among others it has cooled seats and I like them quite a lot and look forward to using the car here where they will be VERY WELCOME. Due do the heat here and the time it takes to cool the interior down is quite a bit and cooled seats help keeping the sweaty back/bum at bay Smile

RSE is an option on all I think (mine doesn't have it and I would never buy it in the day and age of tablets !).

Just look for a car with all the stuff you want and like and see if you can get it. Mine has really everything I want and even tough I would have liked some things like Venture cam/Surround camera/High Beam Assist/Blind Spot monitoring, I can really live without them as they are nice to haves.

That is what I mean, make a list of stuff you really want and try to find that and that could even be a HSE with the right options maybe Smile The option list can be quite long Smile

Good luck with the search. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Agree about the cooled seats Eugene, top feature especially as mine has black leather with the contrast stitching.
