Good day to you all. Well I've finally taken the very big step to own a FFRR (if thats copyrighted then the cheques in the post), after many years of never even thinking of owning such a beast.
Its a second hand, a couple of previous owners really but FSH and excellent condition on my first impressions.
Only accidentally realised i was able to buy this due to a boring night shift chatting about dream cars etc.
am i waffling ?

right its a 2004 Range Rover, 4.4 V8, Vogue, blue with an LPG conversion - prins 95ltre round thing, loads of buttons and bings/bongs that I'm currently reading up on ……..

Had it a week, not a he or she yet, still laughing when i press the missing clutch pedal and knock it into N going into a corner, then realise its an auto, gulp !!!
No engine braking so learning to drive again, finding the view awesome, even seeing peoples gardens for ideas - another story..
I'm getting approx 22mpg but realising its more of how many miles to the £1:40 ex diesel price = guessing 35 ish.
Sat nav works, seats luxurious, no bad back anymore, even using the loud pedal shifts this 2.5 ton lump of metal with astonishing smoothness i never realised with such ease.
I'm sure you all know how this new kid with a new toy feels so hope to meet / chat to some of you soon.
Im in the midlands area, originally from Nottingham and work in London other side the stream travelling via M1 / M40 or currently free train pass due to work.

Welcome and good luck sorting out the niggles that come with a FFRR. I suggest to do a lot of reading on the forum first before you decide to go to dealers and the lot to spend loads of money  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

The previous owner had a large wallet, side steps, S/C front grill, new steering wheel, headlights i think and a few specs I'm reading up on.
I didn't want the beige leather but found this blue / cream version ideal to myself.
Its now just booked into a local indie for a LHS front CV joint - grinding terribly, water ingress and sludge deposits, just found the tyre has been plugged - why on a big lump like this?, and the 2nd key has no electrics - just a key fob, so need a spare for starting the thing. Hope i can sweet talk the 3 month warranty corporate bird into saying yes.

Best of luck - you will always get niggles with these cars, they are like a supermodel - beautiful in all ways, but high maintenance!!
