Service history, wear and tear on interior, smokey exhaust under load, uneven tyre wear, signs of neglect etc.

It shouldn't have any horror stories at that age, its more about common sense and avoiding a lemon. Discovery 4 HSE

I bought my 2010 8 months ago, it had covered 59.000 km (approx 37.000 miles). I found following faults:

- worn rear gas struts
-FBH didt not work
-rear shocks, minor leakage
-lock to trailer hitch was jammed

Check that all the electric gizmos are working properly. Range Rover TdV8 Autobiography MY2010

Look for one with a 5.0 SC engine Much nicer to drive and fewer issues due to turbo related woes. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

So I went to have a look yesterday. Beautiful L322, 4.4 Autobiography. It's a MY2011 in nara and brown beige interior that looks like new with 55'000 on the clock.

Went for a test drive and realised that one is sitting slightly higher than on the L405. Liked the Rangy feeling, whereas the L405 feels a little bit more car like.

Guess I'm taking the plunge since I'm missing a FFRR. Also, there is no news about the new engines for the L405 and I don't want to wait anyway.
