Cubby Box Fridge

The RRS has the option of a fridge in the center cubby box I believe?

Anyone know how it works? Is it off of the A/C loop? Or is it a small electro/thermo jobby?

Could one be bastardised to make it fit? Does the 2010 have one and would that fit?

OK, answered half my question:

It's thermoelectric, hence the big heatsink and fan. I wonder where all that hot air actually goes, those things can get pretty hot.

When I bought the FullFat I thought the refrigerated cubby box would be something I would miss. Not so - on my 2010 Vogue I might not have the insulated box but both the cubby box and the front cup holders get jolly cold when the air-con is blowing. I could hardly touch the "key fob" or my mobile phone after the first time I left them in there after the first long drive so I put the key fob in the cupholder the next day with the same result. The RRS cubby box didn't get anywhere near as cold as the Full Fat's air-conditioned item! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

My cubby box gets red hot instead. Not advisable to keep my rifle ammunition in there then.... Discovery 4 HSE
