Hi Matt,

Thanks - I was after a convenient location to use. Hopefully somewhere in the boot where I already have the resler interface setup etc.

Any thoughts on that?

Thanks Mick, no joy though.

Cant find the White/Red/Yellow wire anywhere, I might have to connect direct to the unit but think that will be a real PITA.

Could be wrong here (as usual) guessing that early L322's might have the same bus set-up as BMW while looking through a Land rover website came across this link , and if you click on the left menu on BUS troubleshooting and scroll about halfway down the page it will show you diagrams .........

Might be of use to someone , or it might be a load of rubbish

Can you start a new thread, or append to one of the old iBus threads please. This is for the location of the K-Bus.

To help you on your way, check this out: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic1797.html

It touches on the subject of manually injecting iBus commands into the network. Thumbs Up

You can't really access anything else as there is not that much more on the ibus. To access the diagnostic side of the units on the ibus you need a diagnostic tool like faultmate or rover com etc...

The ecus on the ibus

Nav computer
TV module
Radio module
Phone ecu
Voice control etc
PDC module
Instrument cluster
Rain sensor
LCM module
DSP or standard amp
Cd changer
Centre console screen or MID

There are links to other ecus e.g. BCU, mirrors etc... But these are not diagnostic links to access any diagnostic links you need the proper equipment.

It's easy to manually inject ibus commands you can use either navcoder or ibus analyser which was designed for bmw's but works great on the range rover
