i've just sprayed my front callipers in satin black and intend to do the backs the same, maybe do both yours black ryan?.. ... - .- -.

The bracket arm you are talking of is the carrier.

The calliper carrier (thats what its called ) are only cheap new from JLR... Less than £20 per side...

i did spray over the brembo logo ryan...i'll get some stickers off ebay and re-apply the logo..

I painted mine in situ with silver smooth hammerite and a brush turned out great and saved a lot of hassle removing etc Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I painted and lacquered my new calipers after masking the piston. Had them done in advance of fitment. After paint I fitted new slider bolts etc.

A quick note to all you keen DIYers reading this thread... If you paint your callipers DO mask off the threaded holes, bleed nipples and pistons where possible (especially on Brembo's) as A, the bolts can tighten on paint then work loose during braking VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!! & B, paint can affect the piston seals etc etc etc |
