Hose Pipe Spray Gun

I've had one of these for nearly 15 years and this afternoon, whilst rinsing the ff, it wouldn't stay in the locked on position anymore, so only sprays whilst the trigger is held ;

Not exactly a hardship I know, but I wondered what you folk would recommend as a replacement ?

I want it to be decent quality, pref not plastic connectors.

Thanks 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Don't buy the Hozelock heads, they last a couple of years then they are fecked

I have one similar to this, had it for 6 years now and it's still like new.

Sadly I can't remember where I bought it from... Big Cry

Yes I know - can't be that bad if I've had it that long. It's still the same one from CK, unchanged in all those years.

I've had a look online and the metal Hozelock multi spray gun pro gets good reviews. I like it as it has a fan spray for removing soap, which my ck one doesn't, and you can alter the flow rate.

That said, I've not been too impressed with their standard plastic attachments, like Mr 47p2 says, seem to not last very long.

I bought the Hozelock Pro with 2 year guarantee (now 3 years) and they tended to last a few months after the guarantee ran out...waste of money

@mjd -

I've always bought Hozelock and have found they inevitably fail after a couple of years.

Aldi - stores currently have plenty stocks of spray guns that plug into the end of your hoze. I bought this the other week from Aldi as a replacement for the Hozelock. It is a substantial/ heavy feel item, good quality material and has 10 spray settings. You can also lock the trigger for permanent water discharge if you want. a quality bargain at £3.99 !

They've also got good quality traditional twist/ turn single spray plug in hoze ends for about £0.89p.

Here it is (packaged with Aldi brand on it):

That's probably how my Hozelock sprays keep braking to be fair. Heavy landings!

Thumbs Up

What about this. I have one and it seems quite robust. Had it for about 6 years, not as long as your previous one but not bad.
