Andrew...Have used the previous model to this one (no visible difference to mine) for the past 12 years and has cut a lot of grass in that time, gets an annual service and has never let me down, great bit of kit and when he time does come will definitely buy the same again. |

Got about the same amount of ground but mine has a few fairly steep slopes - had a Countax, pile of rubbish and heavy on fuel. Replaced it with a Stiga out front mower (4wd and diesel) great bit of kit. Frank Nicol in Dingwall are local dealers but I tend to go to Inverurie - guy in service dept there is very helpful and knows what he is talking about.

Agree with Stan's choice, the only mowers you can eat at the end of the growing season. |

Thanks for the suggestions, most of the mower are a bit more than I have to spend unless I can find one second hand. Would love to get a diesel. Anything I should look out for on a second hand?

I have a John Deere - hasn't missed a beat in 3 years and parts seem very cheap relative to the competition. 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE |

I needed one for the current place and didn't want to spend Countax money, I bought a Craftsman, US Brand, same machine as sold under Husqvarna.
