Sill and arch repair cost

What’s the going rate for sill and arch repair these days ? Appreciate that it depends on how far gone, but it would be interesting to hear experiences. As has been mentioned before it might be a good negotiating tactic when buying a car that hasn’t had the sills done.

Knowing the job has been done correctly by a trusted repairer, rather than being blown in or tarted up for sale would certainly give me comfort if it were a long term keeper.

Thoughts, comments etc very much welcome !

I had my arches and cills done in August 2022 and including the quarter panels. Cost £2600. It was a good job and I have had comments on the good condition at MoT.
You could probably get it done cheaper but I am happy with tbe end result. LOL John

You can definitely do it cheaper but depends on whether you have a “mate” who is a decent welder.

I did mine very cheaply but only because I knew a man!

Just depends how much rot is there, fortunately mine hadn’t gone as far as rotting the Jack points.
